Feminism is a word which attracts more criticism than positivity. Yes, some women with wrong intentions are behind this problem, but feminism is a very needed in this almost one-sided world. And it means we need equality, from both sides. A take on feminism from a feminist.
I am a woman and my head is high…
Independent and strong, know how to fly…
I am a feminist but not to crush you down…
I don’t want to steal but share the crown…
There is no need for you to leave the seat…
My legs are strong enough to tackle the heat…
But if your eyes and words hurt my soul…
Then you should be ready to pay the toll…
If you got bumped into me because of the crowd…
I will understand and I won’t be loud…
But I know the difference between a touch and that touch…
Cross your limit and you will pay too much…
Marriage is a magical and beautiful pact…
Money shouldn’t be a start of this sacred act…
But if we are going to part our ways…
I don’t need your money, I can earn for my days…
I need my space, freedom and rights I deserve…
In this one-sided society, I have to keep them reserve…
I am a feminist and it is my choice…
But only to have two equal voice…
