Venus ( ♀︎, शुक्र ), the only planet of our Solar System regarded as a female is the evil twin sister of our planet. This shiny morning star is a hell with a raging temperature, crushing pressure and acidic clouds. Venus is a perfect example to show what the greenhouse effect can do to a planet. Here are some interesting facts about the gruesome Venus: The two continents on the planet are also named after women. The Northern continent Ishtar Terra is named after the Babylonian goddess of love and southern continent Aphrodite Terra is named after the Greek goddess of love Due to its reverse rotation, Sun rises in the west and sets in the East The diameter of Venus is only 638.4 km less than Earth‘s and its mass is 81.5% of that of Earth’s mass This results in reduced heat loss from the…
15 Facts about Mercury: The Messenger of God
Mercury ( ☿ , बुध ), the closest planet to the Sun is the one which faces its maximum fury. This tiny piece of rock has its own fascinating features. Here are some interesting facts about the mighty Mercury: Both moons individually only have a mass equal to 40% of Mercury The Roman god Mercury serves as the guide of souls to the underworld An observer on Mercury would see only one day every two Mercurian years The polar region is constantly below -93° C Mercury is too small and hot for its gravity to retain any significant atmosphere over long periods of time Appendix: Exosphere This Exosphere contains Hydrogen, Helium, Oxygen, Sodium, Calcium, Potassium and others. Mercury’s gravity is double that of our Moon Mercury’s magnetic field is much weaker than Earth‘s magnetic field. It is still strong enough to deflect…
Everything About Chandrayaan 2
Tonight, India is going to add another glorious page in its history. Chandrayaan 2, India’s second Moon mission and first spacecraft to try soft-landing on any celestial body will try its Moon landing. This is ISRO’s (Indian Space Research Organisation) first such attempt. We don’t know what the result will be but all Indian citizens will be on the edge of their seats tonight. Here are some interesting facts about Chandrayaan 2: The main scientific objective is to map the location and abundance of lunar water If successful, Chandrayaan-2 will be the southernmost lunar landing, aiming to land at 67°S or 70°S latitude History ISRO would have the prime responsibility for the orbiter and rover, while Roscosmos was to provide the lander The design of the spacecraft was completed in August 2009, with scientists of both countries conducting a joint review Fobos-Grunt mission was launched on…
15 Facts about Sun: The Star that Owns it All
Our Sun ( ☉ , सूर्य ) is not just a star at the centre of our Solar System but also the engine that powers everything around it. It’s gigantic, hot and its gravitational force is what keeping everything in place. Here are some interesting facts about our very own star Sun: Sun’s radius is 1700 times smaller than the radius of the biggest known star UY Scuti (Pronunciation: U Y Scu-taai) which is a red supergiant in the constellation Scutum It’s 109 times the diameter of the Earth The diameter of the Earth at the equator is about 43 km larger than the pole-to-pole diameter. Earth has an equatorial diameter of 12,756 km Other elements present on the Sun are Oxygen: 1%, Carbon: 0.3%, Neon: 0.2% and Iron 0.2% And the Sun will continue to do so for another few billion years This…
15 Facts about Solar System: An Introduction to the Home of our Home
Billions of years ago, there was no Sun and there were no planets. All there was a big cloud full of gases. So, how it all turned into a balanced system of a star and planets orbiting around it? How a star and planetary bodies around it made it possible to have life? The story of the Solar System ( सौर मण्डल ). Here are some interesting facts about our Solar System which will give you some insights on this series covering our planetary system: The Local Interstellar Cloud (LIC) in Orion–Cygnus Arm, also known as the Local Fluff is roughly 30 light-years across ———————————— As is typical of molecular clouds, this one consisted mostly of hydrogen, with some helium. It also had small amounts of heavier elements fused by previous generations of stars Within 50 million years, the pressure and density of hydrogen in the centre…
How to approach a woman you like without involving the police!
Disclaimer:
Sarcasm intended
You may be offended
But truth is truth!
So, no apology extended
Do you like someone but you are scared to approach them as you think she will take it in a wrong way? You are absolutely correct, women do take it the wrong way most of the time. You can blame it on all the creepy men who made many women’s lives miserable. This doesn’t mean you should give up on your woman. There’s a safe way to approach. Below pointers are purely my own ideas so they may work for you or not but nothing bad to get some knowledge!
Why we women are always rude at the start?
Disclaimer:
Sarcasm intended
You may be offended
But truth is truth!
So, no apology extended
As a man, have you ever felt that when you first met an unknown woman and started a conversation, she was unreasonably rude? Short answers, blank expressions, and mild aggression even when you were as nice as possible? The reason you felt this way is because you are absolutely correct, we women are rude and no we are not regretful about it.
How Humanity can be Scary and Cruel!
I know most of you who came here are expecting the same old save planet-save environment rant but no, that’s not what I am going to write. Humanity was never kind on non- human entities so that’s not even surprising anymore. It’s just how we manage to be cruel and cold-blooded to our own kind.
The Return of Narendra Modi: How TsuNaMo happened?
Last couple of months were full of heated debates on channels, in closed groups and a political mess in the entire country. It was Narendra Modi vs the rest. Politicians were saying random stuff for each other; dumb or offensive statements were coming on a regular basis. Finally, the long election process ended and yesterday, we got the results. Those who were shouting #AyegaToModiHi ended their day eating Laddu-Cake and those who wanted to topple the government were seen finding a place to hide their heads. Question is, how a big and diverse country like India managed to show the same enthusiasm even after 5 years? Here are my 2 cents:
Why I believe that India has become safer for women in recent years!
The title of the article totally contradicts the recent News and surveys about the safety of women in our country and I believe many of you are here in search of sarcasm. Truth is, there is no sarcasm intended. I seriously believe that things have gotten better for women and I have strong reasons to believe that. Every day, we wake up to multiple News reports of rape and harassment. Minors, women of all ages, men (it happens, is equally evil, mostly unreported) gets sexually harassed or abused. This obviously makes us think that the safety of women is getting worse in the country. But why, what happened in the last few years which increased such events? Rape or sexual harassment in today’s time can result in: In today’s social media scenario, you can easily end up on the internet as the fresh new villain. You will be soon on…
