Mercury ( ☿ , बुध ), the closest planet to the Sun is the one which faces its maximum fury. This tiny piece of rock has its own fascinating features.
Here are some interesting facts about the mighty Mercury:

An observer on Mercury would see only one day every two Mercurian years

The polar region is constantly below -93° C

————————————
This Exosphere contains Hydrogen, Helium, Oxygen, Sodium, Calcium, Potassium and others.
————————————
Mercury’s gravity is double that of our Moon
————————————
Mercury’s magnetic field is much weaker than Earth‘s magnetic field. It is still strong enough to deflect the solar wind, inducing a Magnetosphere
————————————
The ice reached the planet through either when asteroids crashed on the planet or the gas trapped in the interior of the planet somehow escaped but got frozen near the poles
————————————
If the effect of gravitational compression were to be removed from both planets, the materials of which Mercury is made would be denser than those of Earth
————————————
————————————
Mercury’s core is around 75% of the diameter of the planet

The impact that created the Caloris Basin was so powerful that it caused lava eruptions and left a concentric ring over 2 km tall surrounding the impact crater

Nice article thanks… So much interest in Mars nowadays from guys like Elon Musk, that Mars is often ignored.. i didn’t know anything about the planet till reading this:)
Mars is interesting to the mass because it’s the only planet where they can think of going, others are totally inhabitable. When it comes to interesting features, Mars can’t eve compete with others. Wait for Venus which is coming on 11 Sep, it’s the most mindblowing planet near to us.
